Let's see in January I finished:

1. The Pallisers: The Eustace Diamonds - Anthony Trollope - you have
to get used to the Victorian style and language but very enjoyable
2. The Only Girl in the Car - Kathy Dobie
3. No Wind of Blame - Georgette Heyer
4. Red as Blood - Tanith Lee
5. Crouching Buzzard, Leaping Loon - Donna Andrews - the first bookring
I participated in
6. Only Begotten Daughter - James Morrow - local author, lives here in
State College, PA
7. Faun and Games - Piers Anthony
8. Wizard's Holiday - Diane Duane

I'd be hard pressed to pick a favorite since I liked most of them for
different reasons, but Only Begotten Daughter was the one that stands
out as the different kind of book of the bunch. Crouching Buzzard was
just a whole lot of fun, as was Wizard's Holiday and Red as Blood was
Tanith Lee at her creepy best.

Currently reading: Smoke and Shadows - Tanya Huff - This is the first
of her books I have read. It took a little while for anything different
to start happening, the first few chapters seemed repetitive but it's
picked up nicely now.
