Thanks, Freya, for the quick response! The message appears to be fraudulent or in error. Freya is a valued member in long standing of this group, and she has NOT been asked to leave.
So far as I am aware, the only way to leave the group is to go to the group's home page and, while logged in, click the "Leave this group" link. You are asked to confirm and you leave the group then and there. You do NOT have to respond to an email. If any member receives a message similar to the one Freya reports, could they please either mention it here or email myself or one of the other moderators with details.
