Guess I'm glad we didn't spend the money to fly out. The shots on TV from the
air were great. But it would look different on the ground. Still amazes me
the projects they do!! I imagine my 2 13-year-old grandchildren would feel the
same way your 13 year old did!

went- she wasn't too impressed - she said it looked like alot of curtains just
hang there! LOL- I would have liked to see them- it looked pretty neat and I
would imagine in the snow it would have looked alot prettier! ;)

Oh well-

I really wanted to go to NY to see them. There was a lot of publicity in
Indianapolis. They looked beautiful on TV.

is anyone else here from NY or nearby...did you see The Gates at Central Park?
I went for the second time this afternoon, it was really beautiful in the snow.
Last week I saw them from the roof of the Metropolitan Museum of Art but I
wasn't very impressed with the view from there...it was a lot nicer to walk
under and through them. Curious as to what others thought of them and also if
this got much publicity around the country or elsewhere. Has anyone seen any
of Christo and Jeanne-Claude's previous works?
