First, are we talking about BookCrossing.com or this Yahoo BookCrossing group? They're completely separate, and changing your email and/or username in one has no effect on the other at all. If you were getting too much email from BookCrossing.com it could only have been private messages from other BCers or release alerts; you could disable both of those without changing your email or screen name. If the excess email was from the Yahoo group then nothing you changed on BookCrossing.com would affect it - you have to change your viewing options on this group, and that can sometimes take a little while to kick in. Sorry if any of this is too detailed, but a lot of people get the Yahoo BookCrossing emails mixed up with the BookCrossing.com-site mail, so I wanted to be clear! If your questions are about changing your email and/or screen name on BookCrossing.com, then you need to go to the site and use the "contact us" link that's under "home" to contact BookCrossing Support. Supply as much info as you can about what screen name (or names) you've already used and what problems you were having with BookCrossing email, and somebody should be able to help you.
