I would take it to a BookCrossing Meet Up and put it
in the center of the table among the other books for
release. Although I release a large number of books
into the wild, I like controled releases. When I find
a book that I know a specific BCer would like I
send/give it to them. Our Meet Up group is diverse
but I know who tends to read what and I always keep
that in mind when I have a book to release. I also
release books to fellow Jazzercisers. I know they
will probably not bother to journal the books but I
know the type of materials they like to read and I
know they will pass it on (probably to another
Jazzerciser)when they have finished it.
As to having my released books sold in resale shops, I
have no objection. I frequent Value Village where the
paperbacks are sold for 25 cents each and the
hardbacks are 50 cents. The prices are very
resonable, the books go into circulation and the money
goes to a non profit organization. It a win/win
situation all around as far as I'm concerned. This is
why I don't use "not for resale" stickers.
Just my 2 Cents for what its worth! : -)

not to use?
Forgive a newcomer to the fold, but if you found a
valuable book in the wild, would you let it go out
into the wild again?
