well, I have found that it really just depends. Sometimes it might be they aren't currently trading or there is nothing on your shelf that they are interested in, perhaps they didn't get your message... tons of reasons...sometimes they just ignore PM's from people. I think mainly you just have to keep trying. eventually you'll find someone willing to trade with you. also, if there are specific books you are looking for, you might post in the wish list forum on the bookcrossing site. that will often yield results. wish you luck!
