I just wanted to mention that the new "War of the Worlds" movie opens
in a month or two. I saw the trailer for it recently...looks quite
exciting, lots of special effects. It's a Spielberg film, so you can
kind of guess what the visuals will be like. Don't know how closely
it
follows the book though.
Of course, I'm looking forward to "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the
Galaxy", which opens soon. Nothing can begin to compare to the
novels,
but from the look of the trailers they seem to have done a really
good
job with it.
