Glad to see there are so many kind hearted souls on this list! : -)
I have 10 cats and 2 dogs + foster animals for an animal shelter. For the past 4 years I've been working with the feral cat assistance T-N-R program and moderate the shelter's yahoogroups. Also I am chair of the Houston Heights Festival, organize the BookCrossing meetings, run a pet sitting service as my second job and work full time for the City of Houston. Over the years I've made a habit of taking a book everywhere I go. I read at lunch, on coffee breaks, while standing in line, while waiting at railroad crossings, etc. Its amazing how much reading one can do during the average day.
