I find it easier to keep track of reserved TBR books by keeping a list with
a link to the journal entries in my profile & making a journal entry for the
book noting who its supposed to be sent to when Ive finished. Its a nice
reminder for someone like me who has far too many books in the TBR piles and
could easily overlook a promised book. As for the new look? It took me by
surprise but its starting to grow on me. I love how fast pages load but
Im on the fence about the forum post link. I think it is too easy for
newcomers/the casual user to find out too much about me and my opinions
without doing a bit of work first and will make me wary of posting on
certain heated topics (something I dont do very much any way). I dont
like the fact that things posted years ago are so easily accessible. Id
like to see the older stuff purged. Ive gotten all heated up over
lost/late/never sent/never journaled books and now it seems so silly &
petty. Of course, anyone can click on my LiveJournal link and learn a
little about me but LJ also has a feature where you can lock posts to non
friends so private things remain that way. Of course, maybe this will have
a positive effect and eliminate some of the negativity the dwells too often
on the forums. We shall see. ~ LaurieS ~

Actually, I preferred it before, being able to see all the books, cuz some
people, including myself consider their TBR books as available if someone
requests it, providing they are willing to wait until you read it first and
that you don't want to keep it for your permanent collection.
