This is certainly a situation I identify with! : -) In my case its always a side trip to Value Village where used paperbacks cost 25 cents and hardback books are 50 cents each. This wonderful place is conveniently located across the street from the grocery store. Trying to avoid that resale shop zaps my endurance! Frequently, I simply have to give in!
