a book box is just a box full of books - relating to whatever the catagory may be - in this case books as described below...which gets sent around to the participants who have signed up...when you receive the book box, you are allowed to take whatever books interest you as long as you replace those books with an equal amount of books from your shelf and then you send it along to the next person...all the way until it comes back to me.
a book ray is the same concept only it's just one book, you read it and then send it on and when it gets to the last person on the list it is released into the wild... book ring is the same as a ray except when it is done it goes back to the original sender of the book. does that help? my bookbox has been renamed the RE-GIFT IT bookbox... it had a better ring to it... --- Cassie <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > I'm curious ... what are book boxes and rays? > > thanks, > Cassie > > On 5/2/05, Keli Motanagh <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > wrote: > > "its just not my cup of tea" bookbox... > > > > for books you thought you'd read, but have never > > opened...for books you tried to read but couldn't > > finish...for books you read but they just weren't > > really your "cup of tea"...for books that were > given > > to you that you'd never pick up yourself...this > box is > > for you... > > > > > > anyone interested? email or PM me... > > > > > > > > http://www.bookcrossing.com/mybookshelf/icekween01 > > > > > > __________________________________________________ > > Do You Yahoo!? > > Tired of spam?
