I read this as part of a bookray. I watched the movie first and then read the book. I feel neutral on both. The mother was soooo mean!
I am currently reading The Betsy by Harold Robbins. I had picked up The Stallion to read and then saw that it was a sequel to The Betsy, so I have to read it first. ~Sissyrun~ --- In [email protected], "Sandra" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > I actually say that I got sucked into White Oleander very much against my will. I didn't like the movie and I was expecting not to like the book. But it's a weird thing with me that if I know a movie I've seen is based on a book then I need to read the book. I think the book is a better read but the story still bothers me. The main character is emotionally twisted and a whiny sort. The angtagonist is a self-indulgent narcissist. LOL I guess if the characters got to me, for better or worse, it's a good book, right? > What are you currently reading? > ------------------------ Yahoo!
