This isn't much of a problem for me, because Gmail slices off all that crup and I don't have to look at it unless I want to, but for a lot of members, it's a major annoyance. I'm a moderator on this list, and if someone lets me know a persistent offender, I can have a word in their shell-like ear in some sort of official capacity, and then if there's no response, I can set them so their posts are moderated and I can trim the excess before allowing it through. That way I'm the only person who has to scroll through it. More likely, it's just a matter of them hitting the [Reply] button without thinking in the hurry to get a great post out to the list.
