Hi,
Good question!
I have a booklet about the British Columbia plaques, but I don't think
there is a list on line. I'll check & if not, I'll start jogging
someone in the provincial govt to do that!
-- Thanks! I'd also quite like to get my paws on the booklet. ;-) Do you
know how to get a copy?
There is a list of a few plaque sites for British Columbia women on the
Women's History Network of British Columbia website & I'm working to add to
that right now. (I'm the webmistress.) www.members.shaw.ca/whnbc
There are quite a few municipal plaque programmes in B.C. also. I think
there is information about more of Victoria, B.C.'s plaques on line
somewhere.
-- I'll check into it soon!
Here is a link to info about some Vancouver, B.C. plaques:
http://www.discovervancouver.com/GVB/monuments-plaques.asp
and here is info on some maritime plaques in Victoria, B.C.
I think these are interesting.

-- Thank you :-)
I know there will be a plaque ceremony someday soon near me to honour
Helen Gregory MacGill, an early Canadian suffragist & Judge. I will plan
to do the Markeroni thing there & also to release an appropriate book
then, since I'm a bookcrosser. Now, where can I find a penguin in
Vancouver, without stealing one?
-- ah! Penguins are not compulsory. You can pick any kind of a mascot
that suits you. ;-)
I got mine in a drug store. ;-)
Plaque dedications are fun, and make good release opportunities. The
last one I was invited to, I overslept. I was kicking myself for that!
