I just wanted to chime in that I listened to the series on audio too and really enjoyed it. One of the books (can't remember which narrator) does an excellent Romanian accent when speaking Carpathia's lines and I couldn't help but think of Dracula everytime he spoke. Then, of course, started thinking of the correlation between the evil one and Dracula and had to laugh at the irony.
