I just sent Amazon.com a "not nice" email regarding the status of my order and I've been upgraded to two-day service without extra charge as a form of their apology. I ordered two books on June 11th for my sister's birthday at the end of June (using the BC link, of course). Both books were marked "in stock" and would "ship within 24 hrs". The first book was shipped today! The second book won't be shipped until July 28th. HELLO!!! (knocking on monitor). Why are you advertising in stock when it's not? Someone in customer service apparently listened and replied that they are sorry and I've been "upgraded in shipping." Poor little sister probably thought all she was getting for her birthday was a card. So, she'll get two books, weeks apart. Hey! She gets to celebrate three times with me. Am I a good sister or what? <wink> ~Sissyrun~ <--- who also just joined the ranks of LiveJournal and started to blog.
