I get better service than that from Zooba.com and all of their books cost $9.95. Every one of them, brand new, hard back or paper back. No shipping charge. You probably would pay about $25 plus shipping from Amazon and I would get it for $9.95. A lot of their brand new books come out in large print too. It makes it easier to read when I'm sleepy. Zooba is a book club. You sign on to get one book a month and you can quit anytime after your first 3 books. Cheryl in CA
From: Karen Vella <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: Woo Hoo!! I just sent Amazon.com a "not nice" email regarding the status of my order and I've been upgraded to two-day service without extra charge as a form of their apology. I ordered two books on June 11th for my sister's birthday at the end of June (using the BC link, of course). Both books were marked "in stock" and would "ship within 24 hrs". The first book was shipped today! The second book won't be shipped until July 28th. HELLO!!! (knocking on monitor). Why are you advertising in stock when it's not? Someone in customer service apparently listened and replied that they are sorry and I've been "upgraded in shipping."
