July was a dismal month for me, too. Between relatives visiting at the
beginning of the month and then hospitalizing my mother-in-law on the 16th, I
was too tired and worn out to read very much.
The three that I did read are:
Under and Alone: The True Story of the Undercover Agent who Infiltrated
America's Monst Violent Outlaw Motorcycle Gang by William Queen. Facinating
story how he infiltrated the Mongols' MC gang and lived to tell his story and
bring many outlaws to justice.
Fluke by Christopher Moore. This was a bookring I joined 2 yrs ago and finally
made it to my house. This book is hilarious! I will definitely be reading more
of his books.
The 5th and Far Finer than the First Four 637 Best Things Anybody Ever Said by
Robert Byrne. I was looking for quotes to use at work that would show my quarky
side.
Currently reading: The Queen's Fool by Philippa Gregory as part of a bookray.
Half way thru and enjoying it.
