asbo is a newish anti-hooligan measure introduced by the British government. It stands for Anti-Social Behaviour Order and I believe it is imposed by the British police (or courts) and resticts the permissible movement of a trouble making youth. It may order the youth to stay away from certain places such as bars or football grounds etc and also include a curfew element. If the youth does not comply then either them or in some cases the parents are subject to further measures including fines and or incarceration. I think anyway.
