Weclome! I have been a member for awhile (BC name is retc) and am also from and returning to New Orleans. I am temporarily living in Thibodaux and commuting to my job in Metairie but will be returning to New Orleans by January 3 when my son's school reopens. I can definitely attest to the extreme generosity of BCers from around the world. I have received many greatly appreciated gift packages since katrina. I have to say that these little gifts have really kept me going, so nice to know that so many good friends (who I have never met in person) have been thinking of me. (It is sometimes hard to explain to others that I have received all these care packages from people I have "known" for awhile but never met.)
