Yes and yes - sort of. That is, you can find some discussion of wish lists and trading in the BookCrossing forums, but trading is an optional activity that a small-but-active subset of members participate in, and there are spin-off sites created by BCers to help interested parties create wish lists, share books via the relay site in a "pay it forward" way, and other things. If you're interested in those activities, check out TexasWren's site and its BookCrossing FAQ ( http://www.texaswren.com ); she mentions many of these auxiliary activities and the ways one can get involved.
