The hospital has a library for the kids and a nice reference lib for  
parents.  We've given a ton of kid's books to them for those  
functions.. What I like about BC is the serendipity of it.  Some  
folks down there are having hard times.  My thoughts about taking my  
"junky" books (serial "template" westerns, etc ) down there are that  
those kinds of mindless reads helped me escape for a few hours from  
time to time and maybe I can share that.  The atrium, pt family  
waiting areas in clinics, surgery, ED chairs, etc are places I like  
to "visit".

And its not just children's hospitals.
