The hospital has a library for the kids and a nice reference lib for parents. We've given a ton of kid's books to them for those functions.. What I like about BC is the serendipity of it. Some folks down there are having hard times. My thoughts about taking my "junky" books (serial "template" westerns, etc ) down there are that those kinds of mindless reads helped me escape for a few hours from time to time and maybe I can share that. The atrium, pt family waiting areas in clinics, surgery, ED chairs, etc are places I like to "visit".
And its not just children's hospitals. cb On Dec 2, 2005, at 8:51 AM, Susan Patience wrote: > Sending books to Children's Hospital is a Great idea.
