I know it's frustrating to set books free and not hear from them again.  Someone
on this list -- maybe you can speak up because I can't remember who you are --
has had a better response rate by adding this line to the labels with the number
on them:  "You may remain anonymous if you like."  Again, I can't remember
exactly but I think the person even said the "catchers" started out anonymous
then came back later and established a screen name.

I was in a restaurant one night when a lady in a booth behind me was talking
about a "Where's George" bill she'd just found.  She was convinced it was some
kind of hoax, a scam to collect e-mail addresses so she could be overwhelmed
with spam.  I assured her it was safe but she was not convinced.  Now I wish I'd
told her, "Go ahead and try it.  You can stay anonymous if you  like."  Never
know, she might have given it a try.
