Are you sure about that? According to this page of rates on the USPS.com site ( http://pe.usps.com/2006rate/ratesandfees.htm#wp3804000 ), media mail is increasing from 1.42 to 1.59 for under-a-pound packages and from 1.84 to 2.07 for 1-to-2-pound packages.
