No, not boring.... just lots to read in my email lately so I get carried away with the delete button and should go a little slower when it comes to bookcrossing! I know, I get a ton of emails too, with all the groups I'm on, though most of mine are goat-related. Good marketing for us for the goats to make and keepa lot of ties with other breeders. Sorry to hear that town it taking over. The only reason I left is divorce and no bus system out to the acres at the time to get to town to work or go to school. You are the same age as my daughter and she was about 5 when we left the acres. So we may have met... or I may have met your parents. There's still no public bus system that goes out past 60th West... so that hasn't changed at all. It's kind of funny to hear people ask why I drive everywhere when its so expensive with gas- why don't I take the bus? I explain how far I'd have to drive to get to the bus, and they get quiet pretty quickly! lol I noticed in your blog that you are taking German. I took 1 & 2 with Heidi Preschler. Is she your teacher? I loved that class. I really want to continue learning Deutch! In fact, I have begun collecting children's picture books in German. Spanish, and Korean. The languages I have started to learn at one time or another. German and Spanish at least make some sort of sense to me. I can't get past Hello, How are you in Korean to learn anything else! I'm taking it with her too- she makes it really fun. I pondered that too, starting to look at childrens books as something else to suppliment my learning. Glad to see other people have done it as well! My best friend is currently trying to learn Korean. She's half Korean, and her Mom speaks it all the time, but she doesn;t know any to speak of save for very few words and phrases. That was my zip code... aw... I feel melancholly! Nice meeting you!
