My February reads include:
Eldest (Inheritance, Book 2) by Christopher Paolini
A long difficult read for me... not nearly as exciting
as Eragon... but towards the end it got increasingly
good but a hang up/to-be-continued ending... I hate
those! But of course I will be wating impatiently for
Chris to write book 3!
Dragon Rider
Dragon Rider by Cornelia Funke
Although I have been reading children's books I was
taken aback by the childishness of the talking animals
at the beginning but was soon drawn in by Funke's
wonderful story-telling. And that is why I am reading
juvenile books... so I can emulate great writing for
children! I can hardly wait to read more of her books!
Danny Dunn, time traveler by Jay Williams I left a
thorough response to this one on my bookcrossing book
shelf journals.
Danny Dunn and the Voice from Space (Danny Dunn, #12)
Not nearly as interesting as the time traveler but fun
concept.
Well, I guess that does it. Just started Andre
Norton's Dragon Magic but that will have to go into
March's reads.
