Hello, we, the bccov chapter of bookcrossing, usualy have a meetup once a month, and thought that in July we would combine it with the Godiva festival. This is an excelent op to meet fellow bcers, and a fab and unusual event to wild release. The dates are Friday 14th - Sunday 16th July 06 Memorial Park, Kenilworth Road, Coventry, CV3 6PT This is held every year and is a great place to bring the kids, but don't worry, there's also the beer tent for us adults out there. This is a free event, sponsered by local businesses, there's a couple of band tents, some bands that make it into the charts, as well as a world music tent, Kids Tent, cabaret tent, and I know last year there were some classical moments from the Spire Philharmonic Orchestra, along with glenn miller style swing bands. I know some people are already looking at hotels for the weekend, but as the park is near the train station, with lots of parking spaces too, it would be no problem to just visit for the day.
