On the main BC site there are forums with different topics. On the left side of
the page click on Community and then on The Forum. You might want to check out
"Book Talk". I also like Book Wish Lists and Announcements. I steer clear of
Chit Chat.
Don't want to waste my time there, would rather be reading a book.
You might also want to join a UK yahoo group. From Yahoo's main page, click
on Groups and type on Bookcrossing. There are a few (22) UK area groups to
join.
http://uk.groups.yahoo.com/search?query=bookcrossing lists all the groups.
At least join the main group, I did once and it was fun.
PM me if you need more help.

I feel like I'm missing a vital link here. I have finally (finally finally
after about 15 goes) registered as myself the big mouthed "extreme.reader"
(note new jolly dot instead of the hyphen!) but the "e-mail discussion site"
seems like a tomb. Can someone PM me and let me in on the secret? Where are
these so called frisky book discussions and cheery chat I hear about but have
yet to clap my eyes upon? Sorry about this but I'm rather over the "My cat has
a sore paw" etc of the BX Chat bit and crave something a bit heartier. If I
should be somewhere even better could someone let me know about it? I am a bit
of a techno-fool so the instructions need to be explicit. Thanks everyone.
