No bother at all... The best places to leave books (in my opinion) are waiting rooms for doctors, lawyers, college campuses, etc. Also you can try local coffeehouses or other places where people tend to gather and chat about stuff. You can try the local university for a good place to drop books off. I've had luck in women's restrooms at my local univeristy and in the women's restrooms at gyms.
As for your question on how to journal books, you can refer them to the website (www.bookcrossing.com) and I think there are instructions there. But, for a quick 1-2-3: 1. Go to www.bookcrossing.com 2. Look for the BCID (wherever you've put it) 3. Enter the BCID in the boxes at the top of the page (where it says Did you catch a Bookcrossing book?) 4. Follow the rest of the instructions 5. It's journaled! Note: The person who finds your book doesn't need to sign up for Bookcrossing. If they do sign up, however, you can put your BC-screenname in the book so they can enter you in as the person who referred them. Thanks for the questions!
