This sounds a lot like letterboxing. (I am a letterboxer) We all
carve our own personal stamps to use when finding letterboxes out in
the "wild" and when meeting other boxers. We carry logbooks around
that show where we have been and who we've met. It is a ton of fun.
If you have your own personal stamp, why not check to see if there
is a box in your area? Go to this website: www.letterboxing.org
