The children who were killed were Naomi Rose Ebersole, 7; Anna Mae Stoltzfus, 12; Marian Fisher, 13; Mary Liz Miller, 8, and her sister Lena Miller, 7.
Also injured is Sarah Ann Stoltzfus, aged 8, and a sister of Marian Fisher, as well as others. Other names have not been released. The children and adults from the school must be terribly traumatized, and the rest of the community- well, who can even think how tragic this must be. All they know of the outside world is this! Think also of the heroic women who snuck out one little girl hidden in their skirts, telling her to quietly tiptoe out with them. * **Remember that the Amish carry no health insurance coverage.* Please send cards and/or other support, those who are able, but at the very least please keep them in your thoughts. Should we be so shallow as to forget them just because the news cameras left?
