Hi, Jeff. The other replies have answered your question, but I thought I'd add a pointer to the BookCrossing site's "frequent questions" item about the status codes in case it's of use to anyone else: http://www.bookcrossing.com/faqs#26
As others have noted, when you make release notes on a book, its status changes to "traveling" automatically. In cases where the book is passed along in some way other than a wild release - given directly to a friend, for example, or mailed to another BCer in trade - then I recommend making a journal entry instead of release notes, and setting the status to "traveling" yourself. And good luck with your releases! -GoryDetails See the books I've set free at: http://bookcrossing.com/referral/GoryDetails Have you told a friend today? http://bookcrossing.com/tellafriend Archives and email list settings: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/BookCrossing Yahoo!
