I have read$
Literatti, by a new Irish writer, whose name I can't remember. It's the story
of a gay boy, studying in Dublin, who meets two people who find an answer to
their questions -- from the most simple to the most difficult. Quite confusing
and a little boring.
And now I'm reading two books:
Mathew Pearls' The Shadow of Poe. A bit disappointing after The Club Dante.
Mary Higgings Clark's No Place Like Home, about a woman who goes back to the
house where she grew up and where she killed her mother when she was 13.
TBR PILE
Suite Francesa, by Irene Nemirovskij. A bestseller in Spain.
Mauricio o las Elecciones Primarias, by Eduardo Mendoza, one of my favorite
Spanish writers.
