This is a short little Sci-fi from the golden age of pulp writing. The
gist of the story is that after years of speculating about life on other
planets the Martians are suddenly here. And they are, in fact, little
green men, well little green beings, you can't tell. They aren't
particularly threatening but they are very, very annoying, driving all
humanity to distraction and beyond. The main character (and forgive me I
forget his name) is a writers blocked, boozed out sci-fi writer.

The book is only about 100 pages long. It was published in 1955 and is a
little yellow but I read it on a recent bus trip and it reminded why I
liked this period so much. Good plot, good character and a satisfying
ending.
