I'm in Shasta County...I used to live in Marin, but moved because of the cost of living and also the horrible TRAFFIC! Housing costs are a bit more reasonable up here. My husband and I live in the mountains at 3500 feet so we avoid some of the nasty valley heat in the summer :)
