Awesome weight loss, Karen! And your exercise program is super. Look at all that walking, and UP the parking garage.... Wow!
Thanks for looking at my blog! Any of you, if you visit my blog, be sure to leave a comment there -- I LOVE comments, makes my blog look popular :-) I'm waiting till I get my BookCrossing rubber stamp to send my books out. It'll look more official than just handwriting in the ID# and explanation. Has anyone done any kind of do-it-yourself stickers, like make them up on the computer, maybe on label paper, with the BookCrossing explanation and ID#? Or do you use all "official" materials? Welcome to our fun corner of the world. You will have fun reading and releasing. Thrift shops and library sales are great resources if you run out of books to register and release. If you have any questions, fire away. We love to help! I LOVE your blog!! And there's no way you are 55!! Look at you...... you look early 30's! Exercising is a great way to reverse aging. I finally HAD ENOUGH and I've been on a weight reduction program. I've lost 30 pounds since late October and I walk every day, either 2 1/2 laps UP the 7 story parking garage during my lunch break at work or walk 2 1/2 miles after work. The other day one of my co-workers told me that she glanced over and saw me talking to another co-worker and I was smiling, happy and looked like a teenager. WOW!!! Nice thing for a 45 yr old to hear!! Twenty more pounds to go and look out world! I live in an RV with my husband, traveling around. I love books but don't have room to keep them, and am not in one place long enough to get a library card. BookCrossing is the perfect solution! I hate "letting go" of my books but they do accumulate. This way I can let go without letting them out of my life :-) Often as we travel, we find books left in campground laundromats and lounges on a "take one, leave one" basis. It will be fun to leave my tagged books there, as well as "adopt" books and tag them before passing them on again. My BookCrossing user name is Againstthewind.
