October
48) The Disappearance of Lyndsey Barratt - John Wilson 4/5
49) This Pen for Hire - Laura Levine 3/5
50) The Invisible Man - H.G. Wells 3/5
51) Size 14 is not Fat Either - Meg Cabot 4/5
52) Ammie, Come Home - Barbara Michaels 3/5

Considering I stalled in my reading around mid-month, I think I had a pretty
good reading month. I passed my books read from 2006 (49)., too! Yay!

My favorite book was The Disappearance of Lyndsey Barratt by John Wilson. I
picked up this former library book from Freecycle a few years back. It was a
very intense and graphic read.

The Invisible Man was my least-favorite. It was just a little dry for me. But
some classics are like that. At least I'm still picking them up!!

This Pen for Hire and Size 14 is not Fat Either were both pretty cute chick lit
mysteries. I really like the Meg Cabot series ('Size 12 is Not Fat' & 'Size 14
is not Fat Either'). I'm looking forward to the next book, Big Boned.

Finally, if you're looking for a decent ghost story, pick up Ammie Come Home.
It was a nice spooky way to end my October reads.

Happy Reading!

Susan
