2007 had my lowest reading stats thus far at only 21. I will have to attribute
that to knitting like crazy for gifts and projects to sell and my grandmother
getting sick and dying in Sept. Knitting got me through sitting at her bedside.
I couldn't concentrate enough to read. Also, I knitted through my Dad's colon
cancer surgery and chemo.
This new year I hope to get back to reading - first priority will be BC
books.
I also hope that my library will add more books on CD so I can download them
to my little music thingy to listen to while I walk or bike.
My laugh-out-loud book was Signspotting. I shared it with my mom when she was
visiting and we cracked each other up. Helped that we were drinking Mudslides
and smoking cigars (thanks Mom!) while sitting on the balcony of her hotel
room. Memories to treasure!!!
Christopher Moore's book Lust Lizard of Melancholy Cove was enjoyable in
Moore's own twisted way.
Started today: Island of the Sequined Love Nun by Christopher Moore.
