Workers at such places tend to just dump material at teh end of the shift if 
there are too many books and a lot don't get taken. Perhaps find a weekend 
market or car boot sale, and leave a pile of books with a "Free" sign 
pointiong to them at such an outdoor event where peopel are wandering past?
