I've never done this before but since I now journal and tag all the books I read I thought I'd do a list. I may have not journalled a few books that I either read to Zeke or listened to in the car with Zeke so this may not be entirely comprehensive.
In backwards order since that is how it shows up on livejournal search. Ozma of Oz by L Frank Baum - listened to in the car with Zeke. Fun. 13 Clues for Miss Marple by Agatha Christie - I loved this one. I Am Legend by Richard Matheson - also loved this one & need to search out more by him Cat Among the Pigeons by Agatha Christie - pretty standard Christie and good All Together Dead by Charlaine Harris - basically a vampire Harlequin romance series Definitely Dead by Charlaine Harris - basically a vampire Harlequin romance series Dead as a Doornail by Charlaine Harris - basically a vampire Harlequin romance series The Body in the Library by Agatha Christie - pretty average Christie Dead to the World by Charlaine Harris - basically a vampire Harlequin romance series Club Dead by Charlaine Harris - basically a vampire Harlequin romance series Persepolis - graphic novel for book club, not a genre I usually seek out but I liked it Dead in Dallas by Charlaine Harris - basically a vampire Harlequin romance series Dead Until Dark by Charlaine Harris - basically a vampire Harlequin romance series Ubik by Phillip K Dick - I'd meant to read this for years. It was pretty good but confusing and full of holes. Paula by Isabel Allende - book club book and a little annoyingly self centered The Innocent Man by John Grisham - true story and quite upsetting The Return of Tarzan by E R Burroughs - read to Zeke and enjoyed The Pigman by Paul Zindel - pretty good kid lit Valley of the Dolls - an enjoyable bit of fluff I'd never read A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini - very upsetting and very good OUtbreak by Robin Cook - good pulp suspense with some annoying aspects Home to Holly Springs by Jan Karon - comfy little bit of fluff Dreams from my Father by Barack Obama - this was surprisingly enjoyable but told me some stuff about a man I admire that I might not want to know The Cask of Amontillado by E A Poe - read this way back in high school - good, dark, scary, short Hope was Here by Joan Bauer - kid lit and pretty good And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie - very good, highly enjoyed Naked Came the Phoenix: A Serial Novel - this was fun and an interesting idea which ended up with some inconsistencies but I enjoyed it Tarzan by E R Burroughs - read to Zeke - I'd never read Burroughs and enjoyed it but had to edit on the fly some for my 8 year old Penny From Heaven by J L Holm - listened to with Zeke in the car - this was really good kid lit that had us thinking and talking about WWII The Zookeeper's Wife by Diane Ackerman - very good and rather inspiring Compulsion by Jonathan Kellerman - my first ebook and enjoyed as much as all Kellerman The Memory Keeper's Daughter by Kim Edwards - a book club book and I highly recommend it Hotel Pastis - book club book which I didn't much care for In This Mountain by Jan Karon - usual comfy Karon fluff KNots and Crosses by Ian Rankin - pulp suspense and not all that great The Spy That Came in From the Cold by John leCarre - I'd never read leCarre and don't intend to again - boring and overly complicated Signed, Mata Hari by Yannick - boook club book and quite good but a slow starter Stiff: The Curious Life of Human Cadavers by Mary Roach - nonfiction that I enjoyed more than I thought I would Day of Tears by Julius Lester - good and hard look at slavery A New Song by Jan Karon - comfy, fluffy Karon Whew!
