For the last 3 years, I have been wanting a Kindle...really bad....now I'm not sure. I'm liking what I hear about the Nook. So, which one do I go with? Thought I would ask my fellow book-lovers that own either a Kindle or a Nook (or both) to chime in and let me know what they really like about their Kindle or Nook and what they absolutely do not like about their Kindle or Nook. I would like to hear some real reviews by real people using these devices.
For example, I have a to be read pile of 800. One of the things I plan on doing when I get my Kindle or Nook is looking for these titles that I already own and try to acquire some of them from the library as there is no way I can afford to repurchase them all. My library has a digital partnership with Overdrive offering audiobooks and ebooks, where I have been enjoying checking out audio titles for the last few years now. I just found out that Overdrive does not support Kindle. Boo.... One of the things I loved about the Kindle was the "read to me" feature so that I could have hands free reading when I needed to switch. Not sure if that's enough now to sway me towards a Kindle. So far now it's Kindle -0- Nook -1-. I would love to hear your thoughts on the good, the bad and the ugly for both. :o) Sherri Currently reading THE GHOST AND THE DEAD MAN'S LIBRARY by Alice Kimberly & listening to DEEPER THAN THE DEAD by Tami Hoag Up Next: BABY PROOF by Emily Giffin What am I babbling about? http://sharalsthoughtsandramblings.blogspot.com/ http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1318571455 See the books I have set free at: http://bookcrossing.com/referral/sharalsbooks Swap Your Paperback Books - PaperBackSwap.com [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------------------ Have you told a friend today? http://bookcrossing.com/tellafriend Archives and email list settings: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/BookCrossing Yahoo!
