Hedwig tries to read the lastAddConfirmed entry for a topic when it acquires a topic. The PendingReadOp#readEntryComplete checks if the startEntryId equals the endEntryId and in such a case if a NoSuchEntryException was thrown, it doesn't reattempt a read. This doesn't seem right. We see a lot of "cannot read last entry" exceptions in our hedwig logs and I think this is the reason for it.
