Dear All,
I had a phone call from a dealer in Johannesburg
concerning a copy of Congo by Irma Stern.
The dealer has been offered a copy of the above
book and has become suspicious of the seller.
The only information that is available to me at
the moment is that the book (if offered for sale)
may be in the hands of a Xhosa gentleman.
Myself and the dealer are worried that the book is
either about to be stolen or has already been stolen.
The seller suggested that he might be on his way
to Durban....although I would not limit the
potential problem to the Durban area.
