It's mentioned a few times on here that the WLAN card might be faulty or
need reseating. Here's one,

I was lucky with mine as the card just needed reseating. I say lucky as,
for the life of me, I couldn't actually remove it as it seemed to be
glued down. Simply wiggling it about a bit did the trick!
