It's mentioned a few times on here that the WLAN card might be faulty or need reseating. Here's one, http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?95619-Boom-Bust&highlight=boom+reseat+card I was lucky with mine as the card just needed reseating. I say lucky as, for the life of me, I couldn't actually remove it as it seemed to be glued down.
