I'm involved in an event where we're going to be showing a video via
projector connected to a laptop. We don't have any obvious way of
producing enough sound volume for the event (the laptop speakers won't
do).

I'm thinking that the line-in of the Boom might be the way to go. The
Boom will produce plenty of sound. But I'm a little unsure if I can do
this of-site, away from LMS.

Advice?

I'll be trying to make this work (as a test) later today.
