Went ahead and installed LMS on my Windows 7 PC.
Seems to work to control the Boom, but under Server Settings I have not found a way to change the "language". Looking at "Player" in the Server settings but have gone thru the various items...nothing? Even with the "Display" in the server settings set brightness, but still nothing showing on the display on the Boom.
