As I said before, in the past I used to press the power button, the gizmo would then connect automatically to mysqueezebox.com, then I would simply press 1-6 where my favourite radio stations were stored.
I think the problem is with your network: from your server.log file I see that LMS has a problem connecting to mysb.com, too. It's not only the Boom. Are you using any kind of firewall which might be blocking certain outgoing communication?
