Hello,
at the moment, the <tip> and <note> element are rendered as large caption, followed by the text. I think that the Spirit-like style (icon and a text on a grey background) is much better.
For example, if you look at
http://boost.org/boost-build2/doc/html/bbv2.advanced.builtins.targets.html
the tips and notes are way to visible. They almost look like a standalone subsections, and not as just side material which can be easily skipped.
Is it possible to use Spirit-like formatting for <tip> and <note> (and also <warning>). I think that <tip> == hand sign and <note> = "i" letter sign.
Shouldn't be too hard. Looks like we could just add div.tip and div.note (and div.warning?) to the CSS and get them to display-as informaltable. We can tone down div.tip .title to be font-size 100% bold, and maybe add div.tip .title:before url(images/tip.png).
Wow, I'm talking in CSS. I think I need another cup of coffee. ;-) I'll play with this when I get a chance, but it could be a few days.
