Hi, I hope this is the right list for this message.

Yep, I think you're in the right place...

The attached patch modifies image markup in QuickBook ('[$<url>]') such that any trailing text after the image location is used to generate an alt tag in the eventual HTML.

Is this of any interest? (Let me know if you'd prefer a different format).

Quite interesting! But did nobody warn you that we are Borg? You (or at least your cool little patch) have been assimilated...

I've also (hopefully) fixed the compile problems Thomas reported under gcc, merged in his latest changes (mapping schemes to multiple extensions), and included (literally, heh heh) the docs he wrote for the dynamic syntax highlighting. While I was at it, I removed the extra newlines for source-mode includes, and souped up the include directive a bit. So if you want to know just what [include :SNIP(//snip_start|//snip_end) sniptest.hpp] or [include :HIGHLIGHT=hlt ../quickbook.hlt] can do, you'll just have to go take a look at http://www.openseaconsulting.com/boost/qb20050307.zip.

and somehow I actually managed to make good progress on my "real" project too...
