No, I don't think there is. You'll have to directly mess with the output xml and possibly with the stylesheets as well.

And one of the column titles is "MEASKERN SYMBOL". As in the attached pdf file, it is displayed with the form:

MEASKERN SYM-
BOL

How could I get:

MEASERN
SYMBOL

I believe hyphenation is handled by FOP. I don't know how to turn it off.

Btw, just out of curiosity, have you tried using BoostBook with FOP 0.91? (Or would we have to change the build system to get it working?...)
